Tess Forton is a managing user researcher with Emergo by UL’s HFR&D team. She has been with the team since 2018 and has experience planning and executing human factors and usability activities for medical device and pharmaceutical product manufacturers. Forton has particular expertise in conducting discovery research at the start of product development to understand key user needs and pain points and how a product or solution can effectively integrate into existing workflows. Forton holds a B.S. in Psychology from Northeastern University.
